Making coaching accessible to those who are struggling to feel confident and fulfilled

Unsure if coaching is for you? Claire Claxton is on a mission to break down barriers and make coaching accessible to you, regardless of your age or knowledge of coaching

Live the more confident and fulfilled life you’ve always wanted when you partner with a coach who understands the corporate workplace.

Before I began my journey into coaching, I worked for over 30 years, mainly for the aviation sector, in marketing, product development and guest experience roles.

As many women do, I started my corporate career as an enthusiastic and somewhat naïve 24-year-old.

I wouldn’t say I was naturally ambitious; however, working for ambitious organisations with vision certainly had an effect on me, and I worked my way up the corporate ladder to some pretty senior positions with plenty of responsibility.

I became a leader first and thrived on leading major change and transformation programmes for airlines in the Middle East and UK, including a portion of time working on a consultancy basis.

I really loved my time working in some great organizations, and I wouldn’t change that chapter in my life. However, there came a point where I did start to feel that I wasn't learning new things and that I was capable of more both in my career and in my personal life.

I felt like my work-life balance desperately needed to change and, due to personal circumstances, I took a complete break from work to plan my next move.

Thankfully, during this time, I was fortunate enough to find coaching, something that completely changed my work-life balance and transformed my life.

Read on to find out how I reached the fulfilment I know you want.

Who is Claire Claxton?

First and foremost, I am the mother to two girls and part of a large extended family that is very important to me. I also love walking my Cocker Spaniel, Bell.

I am also a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and an Associate Accredited Coach (ACC).

I’m interested in people and I’m passionate about helping corporate executives find fulfilment, whether that’s in their current career or a new career.

I found my work-life balance when I became a coach and started working part-time for an organisation aligned with my values.

I now have the flexibility to enjoy life on my terms, and I’m here to help you do the same.

My Mission

Something that’s very important to me is making coaching more accessible.

Throughout my career, I never considered that I would be somebody who would hire a coach. I was just a woman who did a good job.

I had a great job and a lot of responsibility, juggled the family as well as being reliable, always on time, never letting anyone down. Basically, people-pleasing and overworking myself.

Coaching is now more accessible to everyone, because of Zoom and related technology.

Women, especially younger women, just need to know about it and go for it without waiting for others to give them permission.

Very few people know the difference between coaching and mentoring.

So, part of my mission is to make younger women more aware of coaching and the fact that they can truly benefit from it.

The impact that coaching can have in a person’s career and personal life can be life-changing.

“Claire provided me with the space and time to clarify my goals and options, and to identify how I could achieve them. She listened, enquired, and helped me to appreciate my strengths and achieve a more positive mindset.”
